Team
Building/Team Working
A
healthy, high performance
team will perform productively
and at a quality well beyond
the levels achieved by
individual members working
independently. In
this era of stressful organizations,
success is only possible
with cooperation. Work
groups that do not function
as teams will not achieve
results. Leadership,
problem solving abilities
and productivity are all
outcomes of a smoothly
functioning work team. Team
building recognizes the
talents of individuals
while acknowledging the
fact that the whole is
greater than the parts.
Participants
in this workshop will be
introduced to an understanding
of the concepts underlying
successful teamwork. They
will explore the dynamics
of a team, the typical
weaknesses, and the ingredients
to success through team.
The
workshop is almost entirely
interactive. Using
role-play, simulation,
discussion and adventure
based activities; participants
will be challenged to resolve
problem situations. The
group work is both challenging
and fun and will emphasize
group cooperation and a
team mind-set. Each
participant will share
in the excitement associated
with completing a challenging
objective, ultimately realizing
that their involvement
is an integral part of
achieving group goals.
